We work with schools, teachers, government and commercial organisations to support enrichment of learning and education through interactive online learning, and providing services to support teachers and schools
What is driving the enrichment agenda?
- For schools – new ways to attract parents & drive up/sustain performance
- For teachers – need for new motivation & release of time
- For children & young people – schools now becoming focal points for community for all aspects of welfare of C&YP
- For government – encouraging "richer" learning environment through investment in buildings, ICT and links with private sector
Blonay is looking to support learning enrichment in three ways:
- ICT & Online learning – Specifically Blonay provides online learning development resource using HTML, PHP, MySQL and Flash. See an example of this in the WebLesson section
- Visits to and links with "cultural" venues
- Use of facilitators in school from arts, sports and business sectors
